11 CAC Field Hockey Players Named To 2010 Longstreth / NFHCA Division III All-Region Teams
Salisbury's Kandice Hancock and Tara McGovern, along with Wesley's Madison Leone and Brooke Tadlock, led an 11-player field hockey contingent from the Capital Athletic Conference onto the 2010 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III South All-Region Team.
Hancock and McGovern, along with second-team all-region picks Ashley Kisner and Courtney Webster, led the Sea Gulls (16-4) to the CAC regular-season championship and a berth in the NCAA regional championship game. Both are repeat honorees on the all-region squad.
Tadlock, the 2010 CAC Player of the Year, and Leone led the Wolverines (14-10) to fourth place in the regular-season standings and a berth in the CAC title match and the ECAC South Tournament. Tadlock has been on the all-region team three-straight seasons.
Joining Kisner and Webster on the 2010 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III South All-Region second team are Mary Washington's Kristen Haynor and Morgan Jones, St. Mary's Lauriann Parker and Alexandria Skiest and Stevenson's Kara Zimmerman.
Parker and Zimmerman are repeat all-region honorees.
