OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Marli McDorman, Salisbury

Marli McDorman was directly involved in both of the Sea Gulls' 1-0 wins over top-10 competition. On Wednesday at York (Pa.) she weaved through defenders on the way to the game-winning goal. On Sunday against Williams College, she assisted on Arden Hunteman's game-winner in the fourth quarter.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Addy O'Connell, Salisbury

Addy O'Connell made 13 saves over two shutout victories for the Sea Gulls, including 10 saves in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Williams College. O'Connell has recorded five consecutive clean sheets in goal and has not allowed a score in her past 304:31 in the cage.

HONORABLE MENTION

OFFENSIVE: Maddison Steele, Christopher Newport

DEFENSIVE: Brooke Billhimer, Christopher Newport

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Maddison Steele posted her third career multi-goal effort while leading Christopher Newport to a 6-0 win over Rhodes on Sunday in Fredericksburg. During the squad's lone appearance of the week, Steele scored the game's first two goals, including her fifth career game-winning tally. Her first strike came just 50 seconds into regulation, marking the sixth-fastest opening goal in program history. She added her second tally in the 12th minute to steal a 2-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Since breaking into the starting lineup on September 23, Steele now has four goals and five assists in her last five appearances… Brooke Billhimer led Christopher Newport with 57 minutes of work during the team's 6-0 win over Rhodes on Sunday in Fredericksburg. Anchoring the defense as the center back, Billhimer guided the Captains to their sixth shutout of the season while preventing the Lynx from taking a single shot. It marked just the 8th game in program history in which CNU did not allow a shot or corner attempt.
