St. Mary's Junior Delaszo Smith Named CAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. -- St. Mary's junior Delaszo Smith was named the CAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 28, 2016.

St. Mary's junior Delaszo Smith was named the CAC Player of the Week after guiding the Seahawks to a 2-0 week with averages of 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.5 three-pointers, and 1.5 steals per contest. The highlight of the week was season-bests of 26 points and seven rebounds in the win over Greensboro while shooting near perfect at the free throw line with a 10-of-11 effort. He connected on a season-high three triples at Gallaudet. Smith shot 40.7% from the floor, including 50% from behind the three-point line, and 94.1% at the free throw line.
