York (Pa.) Wins 2006 CAC Men's Soccer Championship
Top-seeded York (Pa.) captured their second straight Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament championship as the Spartans defeated second-seeded Mary Washington, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon. The title is the Spartans third overall conference title as they also won the tournament in 1998 and 2005. York (Pa.) will now advance to their second consecutive NCAA championship tournament. The NCAA tournament field will be released on Monday morning on www.ncaasports.com. The first round of the NCAA championship tournament is scheduled to start on Wednesday, November 8.
