2007 Capital Athletic Conference Men's Soccer All-Conference Team

York (Pa.), the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament runner-up, put seven players on the men’s soccer All-CAC teams as released today by the conference office. The Spartans had three players selected to the first team and four selections on the second team. Sophomore midfielder Jon Ports (pictured) was selected as the Player of the Year.

Salisbury Men's Soccer Coach Gerry DiBartolo Records 300th Victory

Salisbury University men's soccer head coach Gerry DiBartolo earned his 300th career win as his Sea Gulls defeated Hood College, 6-0, on October 20th, in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup at SU Soccer Complex in front of a crowd of 320 on senior day. DiBartlolo, now in his 26th season, is the 21st coach to reach the 300 win milestone in Division III history.

Salisbury University Enters 2007 CAC Men’s Soccer Tournament as Top Seed

The Salisbury University men’s soccer team will enter the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) men’s soccer tournament as the number one seed. The Sea Gulls earned the top seed due to their regular season head-to-head victory over York (Pa.), who claimed the number two seed in the tournament, as both teams finished conference play with identical 7-1 records.
