At CNU, Grace scored the only goal of the match from just outside the penalty area in the 77th minute to lift the Captains (17-3-4) past Old Dominion Athletic Conference champion Lynchburg (13-7-1).

CNU keeper Sam Lesko stopped all three of Lynchburg's shots on goal to record the team's ninth shutout of the 2014 campaign.

At Lancaster, Pa., Salisbury and Rochester played a scoreless first half, but the Yellowjackets scored twice in the first eight minutes of the second half to start the assult.

The scoreless game cracked in the 50th minute in favor of the Yellowjackets. Rochester's Alex Swanger received the ball on the right side of the field, just outside the 18-yard box. Playing the ball into the middle of the box, Ben Swanger connected on a liner to the top-right corner, just out of the reach of a diving Staedeli.

Just four minutes later, Rochester would add a second. A blocked ball by senior back Jeff Byrnes played back to the feet of Yellowjacket Jeff Greblick who sent a low shot to the right post, under the arms of Staedeli, to take a 2-0 lead into the remaining 36 minutes.

Rochester would find the back of the net two more times before the end of the game, but it wasn't without a fight, as the Gulls got off three shots in the final 30 minutes, but all pushed just wide.
