2017 CAC Men's Soccer Tournament Bracket

Mary Washington and Salisbury advanced to the CAC men's soccer semifinals with first-round triumphs on Saturday. Mary Washington defeated Frostburg State, while fifth-seeded Salisbury ousted fourth-seeded York in penalty kicks. 

In Fredericksburg, Va., third-seeded Mary Washington defeated sixth-seeded Frostburg State 3-1 behind scores from Ryan Van Maanen,  Joshua Everard, and Justin Carey. The Eagles will travel to second-seeded St. Mary's for a semifinal showdown on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. 

In York, Pa., fifth-seeded Salisbury outlasted fourth-seeded York 8-7 in penalty kicks in dramatic fashion following a 1-1 tie through two overtimes. Salisbury goalkeeper Trevor Brookhart delivered the decisive PK for the Sea Gulls before stopping York's final attempt to send the Sea Gulls to the semis. Salisbury will travel to top-seeded Christopher Newport for a 5 p.m. matchup on Wednesday.

Game 2: at #3 Mary Washington 3, #6 Frostburg State 1
Note - #1 & #2 Seeds earn first-round byes

Semifinal Round - Wednesday, Nov. 1
Game 3: #5 Salisbury at #1 Christopher Newport, 5 p.m.
Game 4: #3 Mary Washington at #2 St. Mary's, 2:30 p.m.

Championship - Saturday, Nov. 4
Game 5: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 (at highest remaining seed)
