Frostburg State sophomore Christian March earned CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week honors after totaling eight first-place finishes in four meets this season for the Bobcats. March remains undefeated in both the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. His top time of 59.60 in the 100 breaststroke ranks 19th in the nation.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

All six CAC teams have opened their 2015-16 campaigns over the last two weeks, including one CAC matchup for each squad ... Mary Washington, St. Mary's and Salisbury each posted CAC victories in their conference openers ... Mary Washington freshman Ricardo Bonilla-Vazquez has won four different stroke events thus far for Eagles. He won the 200 IM in the season opener against Washington & Lee, the 100 yard butterfly against Catholic, the 100 fly and the 100 backstroke against Frostburg State, and the 200 freestyle against Randolph-Macon ... Marymount's Tyler Hayes guided the Saints to a 1-1 start to the season, downing Goucher and falling to St. Mary's in a tri-meet. Hayes has the 19th-fastest time in the 50 freestyle at 21.55 ... Grant Burgess led St. Mary's to a 2-0 season-opening weekend. Burgess was a member of the winning 400 medley relay and then picked up wins in the 1,000 freestyle (10:21.51) and the 200 butterfly (2:00.45). He notched the top CAC time in both the 200 butterfly and the 400 medley relay as well as the 3rd fastest 1,000 freestyle time in the CAC ... Salisbury freshman Peter Moyer collected his first two career victories for the Sea Gulls against York, winning both the 800-meter freestyle (9:11.63) and the 400-meter freestyle (4:20.83). Moyer was also a part of the 400-meter freestyle relay team that picked up first place ... York freshman Trevor Brinton won the 50 freestyle against Elizabethtown and was also part of the winning 200 medley relay in 162-42 victory for the Spartans. Against Salisbury, Brinton won the 100 free with a time of 56.12 and finished second in the 50 free with a time of 25.36.
