The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 12th week of the 2025 spring tennis season. Christopher Newport's Edvard Porsmyr Hansen claimed C2C Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors, while Mary Washington's Addison Felts picked up C2C Women's Tennis Player of the Week merit.

MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Edvard Porsmyr Hansen, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport senior Edvard Porsmyr Hansen won both of his matches in a 4-3 win against nationally ranked Salisbury to close out the regular season ... Defeated Gianluca Beaujon and Mitchell Desman with partner Gabe Smith at No. 2 doubles (6-2) ... Also won at No. 3 singles against Gurv Suri, rebounding from a 6-7 (4-7) first set loss to clinch an important team point, 6-4, 6-2 in the second and third ... Both wins proved pivotal in a one-point victory.

WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Addison Felts, Mary Washington

Mary Washington sophomore Addison Felts turned in an undefeated week for the #61 Eagles, winning at both number one singles and doubles twice as the Eagles split with Virginia Wesleyan and #20 Swarthmore. She gained singles wins over Tuva Flink of VWU, 6-1, 6-2, and over Erin Li of Swarthmore, 6-3, 6-4. In doubles, she and Natalie Kim gained a 6-1 win over the Marlins and 7-5 over the Garnet.

WOMEN: Lily Muir, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Salisbury's Asher Willenborg won three matches for the Sea Gulls during the week. On Saturday against Christopher Newport, Willenborg and Jhayden Pappas sweated out a 7-5 victory in first doubles before Willenborg dominated in first singles (6-1, 6-1). Then on Sunday against Stevenson, he teamed up with brother Russell Willenborg to roll through first doubles 6-2… Salisbury's Lily Muir won a pair of top-flight matches in the Sea Gulls' 7-0 triumph over Stevenson on Sunday. Muir and Gibelle Beaujon breezed through first doubles 6-1, then Muir bested the Mustangs' Shelby Carter in straight sets (6-2, 6-4).
