SU’s Bodmer, Adams Garner C2C Women's Track and Field Weekly Honors

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the seventh week of the 2024-25 track and field season. Salisbury's Anna Bodmer received C2C Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors, while the Sea Gulls Hayden Adams was tabbed C2C Women's Field Athlete of the Week.
WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Anna Bodmer, Salisbury
Salisbury sophomore Anna Bodmer recorded a first-place finish in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:36.28 at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. The performance currently ranks third in Division III.
WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Hayden Adams, Salisbury
Salisbury freshman Hayden Adams tallied a PR in the javelin throw at 31.03 meters (101-10), placing 14th at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge.
HONORABLE MENTION
TRACK: Kenzie Seymour, UC Santa Cruz
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
UC Santa Cruz's Kenzie Seymour led the Slugs with a time of 17:25.45 in the 5,000-meters, finishing in 15th place at the Hornet Invitational. Seymour's time was a lifetime personal best and is currently the fourth fastest 5k in the country.
