The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of the 2024-25 track and field season. Mary Washington's Jacinto Jones II was tabbed C2C Men's Track Athlete of the Week, while Christopher Newport's Latrell Fomby earned C2C Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors.

MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Jacinto Jones II, Mary Washington

Mary Washington junior Jacinto Jones II finished in second place (as the top Division III finisher) in the 200 meters at the Dennis Craddock Invitational on Saturday, producing the 11th-fastest time in the nation this season with a time of 21.40 seconds.

MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Latrell Fomby, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport senior Latrell Fomby set two PRs and moved into the top-50 nationally in a pair of events during the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic on Saturday. In the discus, he posted a victory with a 50.12-meter toss, which stands 10th on the NCAA leaderboard and third in program history. He also added a 54.66-meter launch in the hammer. That ranks 34th in the nation and second on the school's all-time performance list.

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Tom Foti shaved over 30 seconds off his previous PR in the 10,000 during the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic on Friday evening. The senior registered a time of 32:15.91, which moved him to sixth on the school's all-time performance list… UC Santa Cruz's Levi Laden stole the show in the 200 meters at the Chabot Finale, taking first place with an impressive time of 21.83 seconds.
