SU’s Harrington, McDonnell Earn C2C Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Honors

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 12th week of the 2025 women's lacrosse season. Salisbury's Audrey Harrington claimed C2C Offensive Player of the Week honors, while the Sea Gulls Regan McDonnell repeated as C2C Defensive Player of the Week.


OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Audrey Harrington, Salisbury

Salisbury junior Audrey Harrington saved one of her best performances for the regular season finale, a win over Mary Washington, posting her second-highest career point total of six with trios of goals and assists while putting all four of her shots on target.


DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Regan McDonnell, Salisbury

Salisbury sophomore Regan McDonnell capped off the regular season in style, causing a team-high three turnovers and securing two draw controls while logging her second career hat trick in victory versus Mary Washington.

OFFENSE: Drew Stanley, Christopher Newport; Tori Mueller, Mary Washington

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Drew Stanley matched her career-high with four points in close loss to No. 9 Washington and Lee on Saturday. During the contest, she recorded the second hat-trick of her career, including a go-ahead goal in the first quarter and a pair of strikes in the second stanza that lifted CNU to a 7-4 lead. She also dished out her first assist of the season in the third stanza… Mary Washington senior Tori Mueller scored six goals and added three assists as the Eagles split a pair of contests this week. She scored two goals and an assist in the Eagles' 15-11 win over Meredith and netted four goals and a pair of assists in UMW's 18-9 loss at Salisbury… Christopher Newport's Carys May established new career-highs with five caused turnovers and five ground balls in close loss to No. 9 Washington and Lee on Saturday. Three of her takeaways came in the first half as the Captains built an early 7-4 lead. Later, she pushed back against W&L's comeback bid with two strips in the third period, which helped CNU foster a one-goal lead entering the fourth quarter. Aided by May's efforts, Christopher Newport finished with 20 total caused turnovers, which marked the fifth-most in program history and the highest total against a nationally ranked opponent.
