St. Mary's Sophomore Kelly Heyde Tabbed As CAC Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

St. Mary’s sophomore KELLY HEYDE (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) was selected as the CAC Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week after breaking the school record in the 1,000 freestyle in Friday’s win vs. Washington (Md.) College and setting three pool records with first-place performances in Saturday’s four-team meet at York. Heyde touched the wall in 10:44.94, which is the fastest 1,000 freestyle time in the CAC this year and broke the team record by two seconds. She then set YCP pool records in winning the 200 IM, 200 butterfly and 500 freestyle as the Seahawks topped Dickinson, Susquehanna and the host Spartans.
