York Falls To Washington University, 4-0, In Opening Round Of 2015 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament

Washington (Mo.) University's Olivia Lillegravel scored her 12th goal of the season midway through the first period and the Bears gradually pulled away for a 4-0 victory over York College in the opening round of the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament Saturday at Granville, Ohio.
The Bears (17-2) made it 2-0 at halftime on Katie Chandler's sixth goal of the season in the 30th minute. Second-half goals by Anna Sippel and Darcy Cunningham put the game away for Washington U., which advances to Sunday's second round against the winner of DeSales vs. Denison.
York, which won its third CAC championship in the last nine years, finished its season with a 9-11 overall mark.
The Spartans managed 10 shots in the match, three on goal, while Washington had 20 shots and forced YCP keeper Kate Lutte to make nine saves.
