Top seeds Christopher Newport and Frostburg State each recorded home shutout victories in Wednesday's CAC semifinals, setting up a championship rematch on Saturday in Newport News, Va. 

Top-seeded Christopher Newport downed fourth-seeded St. Mary's 3-0 under the lights in Newport News, sending the Captains to the championship for the second year in a row and third time in the last five seasons. All three Captains goals came in the second half, with Riley Cook, Gabby Gillis, and Carson Pokorny finding the back of the net, and Gillis adding an assist. With the win, the Captains remained unbeaten on the year at 17-0-1, while the Seahawks conclude their season at 6-9-4. 

In Frostburg, Md., second-seeded Frostburg State punched its ticket to the title game for the second straight year and fourth time overall with a 1-0 triumph over third-seeded SalisburyMelanie Bell scored the game's only goal in the 83rd minute for the Bobcats, finishing a long pass off a free kick from Alyssa Malanik
