YORK, Pa. -- St. Mary's senior Brooke Raab was named the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for Nov. 11, 2014.

St. Mary's senior Brooke Raab was selected as the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week after collecting six gold medals and breaking a pool record in a 3-1 weekend for the Seahawks. Raab remained undefeated in individual events this year, securing three golds in a win at Randolph-Macon and following that up with three more wins at the York quad meet. Against Randolph-Macon, she posted victories in the 200 IM, 500 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. At York, she captured the 200 breaststroke with a pool-record time (2:29.35), breaking a record set in 2009, and also touched first individually in the 200 IM. Raab was also part of the winning 400 medley relay.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

In the two CAC meets last week, Salisbury topped Frostburg State 141-64 and St. Mary's defeated York 123-79 ... Robin Brazier won three races as Mary Washington defeated Randolph-Macon on Saturday. Individually, she took top honors in the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke and capped the day as the third leg of the winning 400 free relay ... Salisbury's Victoria Radcliffe had a record-breaking week for the Sea Gulls, capturing six first-place finishes, including breaking the pool record at the Maggs Physical Activities Center in the 400-meter individual medley, recording a time of 5:28.53 against Frostburg State.
