2025 C2C Women's Tennis Awards and All-Conference Teams Named

The 2025 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Tennis Awards and All-Conference Teams have been announced:

C2C Player of the Year: Raine Weis, Christopher Newport

Weis captured player of the year acclaim for the third time in her remarkable career.  She was selected to compete in both the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships for the third time.  Weis has an overall record of 18-4 and is 3-0 in C2C singles play this season.  In doubles, she has a 17-6 record.

C2C Doubles Team of the Year: Kylie Schaefer/Raine Weis, Christopher Newport

Schaefer and Weis picked up doubles team honors after leading the Captains.  The duo earned a berth in the NCAA Doubles Championships after posting a 15-4 overall record at No. 1 with two wins in C2C action while one match was unfinished.

C2C Rookie of the Year: Natalie Kim, Mary Washington

Kim had an outstanding first year to claim rookie of the year honors.  She led the Eagles in singles wins (16-9), including a record of 12-5 at No. 2.  In doubles, Kim and Addison Felts compiled a record of 19-7, including a 13-4 mark at No. 1.

C2C Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Raine Weis, Christopher Newport

Weis, an accounting major with a leadership studies minor, received outstanding student and athlete recognition.  The team captain is graduating Magna Cum Laude in addition to her exceptional athletic accomplishments which earned her player and doubles team of the year distinction.

C2C Coaching Staff of the Year: David Weiner, Christopher Newport

Weiner claimed his second consecutive coaching honor after guiding the Captains to back-to-back C2C titles.  In his eighth season, the Captains posted 13-7 overall record this year.
