The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of the 2024 women's volleyball season. Christopher Newport's Alyssa Dozier captured C2C Offensive Player of the Week honors, while the Captains Noelle Starr picked up C2C Defensive Player of the Week distinction.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alyssa Dozier, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport junior Alyssa Dozier led the Captains' offense with 31 kills across three matches, including a standout 20-kill performance against Marymount where she hit .356 and added seven blocks. Earlier in the week, Dozier contributed nine kills to help CNU sweep #25 Salisbury in straight sets.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Noelle Starr, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport senior Noelle Starr anchored the defense with 59 digs (5.36 per set) across three matches, reaching 20 or more digs in two of them. She recorded 22 digs in the three-set win over #25 Salisbury, added 17 against #15 Washington & Lee, and capped the weekend with 20 digs against Marymount. Starr also surpassed 2,000 career digs and moved up to second all-time in career digs in program history.

OFFENSIVE: Gwen Eustace, Salisbury; Chloe Crosen, Mary Washington

DEFENSIVE: Jackie Mitchell, Salisbury; Hannah Livermon, Mary Washington

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Gwen Eustace registered 21 kills (.255) in Salisbury's two matches over the weekend. She led the team with 12 kills (.333) in Sunday's showdown at Gettysburg… Senior right-side Chloe Crosen led Mary Washington with 11 kills in 33 attempts in a 3-2 loss a Randolph College on Saturday in UMW's only action of the week… Jackie Mitchell chased down 32 digs and posted three block assists in Salisbury's two matches over the weekend. After posting 14 digs on Friday at CNU, Mitchell set a season high with 18 digs on Sunday at Gettysburg… Senior libero Hannah Livermon led Mary Washington with 18 digs to go with six assists and two service aces in a 3-2 loss at Randolph on Saturday.
