Six C2C Volleyball Standouts Earn AVCA All-Region Honors
The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Wednesday (Nov. 20) that six Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) volleyball standouts have been named to the AVCA All-Region teams.
Christopher Newport had three honorees with Alyssa Dozier and Noelle Starr on the first team. Alyssa Vitale was an honorable mention selection for the Captains.
Salisbury's Gwen Eustace and Kiley McTaggart earned top team recognition, while UC Santa Cruz's Kelly Ann Greene was tabbed honorable mention.
There are 14 All-Region team members and six honorable mention selections for each of the 10 regions. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 203 student-athletes who made All-Region represent 103 different schools.
