University Of Mary Washington Announces Its 2008 Hall Of Fame Inductees

The University of Mary Washington Athletic Hall of Fame will induct four new members as the 12th induction class on October 24, 2008, as part of the school’s Homecoming celebration. Former swimming All-Americans Eliza Barcus Brown (’96) and Chris Rice (’98) and multisport standouts Eliza Huber Scott (’96) and Jennifer Wilson Buck (‘94) comprise this year’s class.

Corey Hewson has been named as the head women's soccer coach at the University of Mary Washington, as confirmed by UMW Athletic Director Ed Hegmann. Hewson, who has served as an assistant coach for the Eagles for the past seven years, becomes the third coach in the 22-year history of the program, following Pete Ginnegar and Kurt Glaeser.
