Wesley Junior Will Mileski and Christopher Newport Senior Sean Christein Named CAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- Wesley junior Will Mileski and Christopher Newport senior Sean Christein were named the CAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week for Oct. 12, 2015.

Wesley junior Will Mileski was picked as the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after recording two goals and an assist last week for the Wolverines as they earned a pair of CAC wins. In a 3-1 win over Marymount last Wedesday, Mileski notched an insurance goal for the Wolverines in the 63rd minute of play. In a 4-1 victory over Southern Virginia on Saturday, he notched the game's first goal and added an assist to lead the Wolverines to their fifth win in their last six games.

Christopher Newport senior Sean Christein was honored as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after helping lead CNU to a pair of shutouts last week. Christein and the Captains' defense allowed just five total shots and one on goal, in a 3-0 win over Southern Virginia on Tuesday, before surrendering just three total shots, with two on frame, in a scoreless double-overtime draw with Frostburg State on Saturday. Christein also helped out the CNU offense, scoring the game-winning goal against Southern Virginia.

Christopher Newport is ranked No. 10 in last week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Rankings and No. 6 in the D3soccer.com rankings. Salisbury received votes in the D3soccer.com poll ... CNU continued its unbeaten streak to start the season and now has not lost in 21 straight games -- that streak is second only to Calvin's 33-game unbeaten run in all of NCAA Division I, II or III ... The Captains have now played in seven overtime games this season, posting a 3-0-4 mark in extra time ... Frostburg State goalkeeper Hassan Mostafa totaled 11 saves in two CAC games last week, including tying his season best with eight saves in the draw with CNU ... Mary Washington topped Frostburg State, 1-0, on Tuesday, on a Connor Nogueira score, before falling to York 1-0 on Saturday ... Marymount goalkeeper Logan Cropper notched a career-high 12 saves in a 3-2 win against St. Mary's. His 12th save was made with just one second left in regulation to keep the Seahawks from tying the game and sending it to overtime. Andre Ferguson helped the Saints defeat St. Mary's with a goal and an assist ... Salisbury junior Leslie Umunna scored a goal in each game of a 2-0 week for the Sea Gulls, including the game-winner vs. St. Mary's. Goalkeeper Drew Staedeli picked up his fourth shutout of the season against Penn State Harrisburg. He is now the only goalie in the top three of the CAC in saves (55), save percentage (.873), goals against (8), and goals-against average (0.71) ... York earned CAC victories over Penn State Harrisburg, 2-1, and Mary Washington, 1-0, last week. Junior Nigel Robinson posted an assist and the game-winning goal against Penn State Harrisburg. Robinson leads the Spartans with 11 points on five goals and one assist. York is unbeaten (3-0-1) in their last four games. Goalkeeper Charlie Johnson allowed just one goal in 180 minutes of work. For the season, Johnson owns a 1.18 goals against average and a .754 save percentage in 1225 minutes of action.
