York junior Morgan Schreiber was awarded as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after picking up three individual wins in the Spartans' tri-meet split with Marymount and Washington & Lee. Schreiber won the 100 backstroke (54.63), 200 backstroke (2:00.08) and 200 IM (2:04.88), helping the Spartans improve to 4-0 in the CAC with a 198-57 triumph over Marymount. He also swam the leadoff leg of the 200 medley relay squad that placed second. Schreiber now has a team-leading 16 individual victories for the year.

All six CAC men's swimming teams have opened the 2017 portion of their schedules ... The CAC Championships are set for Feb. 17-19 at St. Mary's ... Mary Washington and York are both 4-0 in CAC action and will meet this Saturday in Fredericksburg, Va. ... Frostburg State junior Christian March was a perfect 3-for-3 on the afternoon in a meet against Penn State Altoona and Bethany (W.Va.). March won the 200-yard IM (2:08.90), the 100-yard freestyle (50.59) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.37), helping the Bobcats to a pair of team victories ... Mary Washington senior All-American Dallas Tarkenton was a three-time winner for the Eagles in Saturday's dual meet at Gettysburg. He was a member of the winning 200 medley relay that finished with a time of 1:36.93, and followed with individual wins in the 100-yard butterfly at 50.93, as well as the 200-yard butterfly, at 1:57.95 ... Marymount senior Tyler Hayes snagged first place in the 50-yard freestyle (21.79) against Division I Howard. Hayes was also a member of the 200-yard free relay team that notched a top-place finish after touching the wall at 1:28.07.
