Christopher Newport sophomore Sam Porter was named the CAC Player of the Week after averaging 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.0 steals per game in a 3-0 week for the Captains. Porter began the week with 12 points and four steals in just 18 minutes at Frostburg State. She followed that up with a near triple-double at Salisbury, posting 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals. Finally, she added her second straight double-double with a season-high 20 points and 10 rebounds at Wesley.

Marymount sophomore Nicole Viscuso was awarded as the CAC Player of the Week after averaging 20 points per game on 69.6% shooting in a 2-0 week for the first-place Saints. She also averaged 2.5 blocks, 2.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds in victories over Wesley and Frostburg State.
Mary Washington Senior Megan Green Named CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Mary Washington senior Megan Green was honored the CAC Player of the Week after nearly reaching a triple double as the Eagles topped Southern Virginia, 74-50, on Wednesday in their only action of the week. Green scored nine points, and added nine rebounds and 10 assists for the Eagles, who improved to 13-3 overall and 7-2 in league play at the midway point of the regular season.

Christopher Newport sophomore Anitra Thomas was awarded as the CAC Player of the Week after helping the Captains to key conference victories over Mary Washington and York that moved them into a three-way tie for second place. Thomas grabbed a career-high seven rebounds against UMW, before registering 23 points, four assists and four three-pointers against York.

Marymount senior Miranda Krott was named the CAC Player of the Week after guiding the Saints to another 2-0 week in league play to remain the only squad with an unblemished record at 6-0. Krott averaged 11.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 assists while shooting 52.9% from the floor as Marymount defeated Frostburg State and No. 25 York in a battle for first place.

Marymount sophomore Nicole Viscuso was honored as the CAC Player of the Week for the second time this season after averaging 23.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week in CAC action for the Saints. Viscuso opened the week with a career-high 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds in a win over St. Mary's last Wednesday. Against Wesley on Saturday, she again set a new career high with 26 points and added 11 rebounds.

Marymount sophomore Nicole Viscuso was picked as the CAC Player of the Week after guiding the Saints to a perfect 2-0 record to open conference play with averages of 14.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game while shooting 59.1% from the field. She opened the week with her third double-double of the year against Southern Virginia with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Viscuso's biggest performance of the week came in a 49-44 victory over Christopher Newport, as she totaled a game-high 19 points on 72.7% (8-for-11) shooting and also grabbed seven boards.
Mary Washington Freshman Elizabeth Dofflemyer Named CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Mary Washington freshman Elizabeth Dofflemyer was named the CAC Player of the Week after leading Mary Washington to a 67-50 win at Virginia Wesleyan on Tuesday with game-highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds for her first career double-double. Dofflemyer shot 7-of-13 from the field, including two three-pointers, and connected on all five of her free throw attempts. She also tallied three assists and two steals in the win.
York Junior Sam Hruz Named CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
