St. Mary's junior Mimi Graf was named the CAC Volleyball Player of the Week after helping the Seahawks to a 4-1 week, including their second CAC win of the season. Graf recorded her second triple-double of the year, and third of her career, with career-highs of 13 kills and 21 digs to go along with season-bests of 29 assists and two aces in the win over Roanoke. For the week, Graf recorded a triple-double and two double-doubles while averaging 5.94 assists, 3.38 digs and 2.25 kills per set.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Christopher Newport was ranked No. 4 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Week 5 Top-25, released last Tuesday. Mary Washington was just outside the top-25, receiving 8 votes ... Christopher Newport improved its winning streak to six matches with a 2-0 week, moving to 18-2 on the year. Rachel Conway led the Captains with 11.5 assists per set, bumping her career total to 3,062 to become the fourth Captain in program history to join the 3000-assist club and the second fastest to accomplish the feat after reaching that benchmark in her 360th career set ... In a 1-2 week for Frostburg State, setter Madelyn Torres handed out 100 assists, registered 24 digs and posted four blocks ... Mary Washington junior Emma Olson moved into the top five in school history in assists last week. The Eagles went 1-1 on the week and moved to 16-5 on the season ... Cailyn Thomas guided Marymount to a 2-0 week in league play with wins over Frostburg State and Wesley. With 69 total blocks for the season, Thomas ranks No. 1 in the CAC and in the top 50 in the country ... Salisbury's Jordan Lawson notched a career-high 11 kills while hitting .714 to help lead the Sea Gulls in their 3-1 win over Mary Washington ... In four matches last week, Wesley's Tionne Graves-Brown averaged a double-double tallying 3.85 kills per set and 4.00 digs per set.
