12 CAC Field Hockey Players Earn NFHCA All-Region Honors
Twelve CAC field hockey players have been selected to the Longstreth / NFHCA All-South Region team announced Monday morning. Seven players earned first team honors, while five were named to the second team.
Christopher Newport and Salisbury led the way with four All-Region selections apiece, followed by Mary Washington with three and Wesley with one.
Landing on the first team were Christopher Newport's Marlene Lichty and Belle Tunstall, Mary Washington's Caitlin Baker and Jenna Steele, Salisbury's Courtney Jantzen and Samantha Johnson, and Wesley's Madison Leone.
Representing the CAC on the second team were CNU's Lauren Cheatham and Shelby Judkins, Mary Washington's Haley Kane, and Salisbury's Mallory Elliott and Katie Hastings.
