Four CAC Field Hockey Players Compete in NFHCA Senior Game
Four CAC field hockey players represented the conference in the 2013 Front Rush / NFHCA Division III Senior Game on Saturday afternoon at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.
Christopher Newport's duo of Marlene Lichty and Shelby Judkins along with Mary Washington's Caitlin Baker and Wesley's Madison Leone competed in the contest, held during NCAA Final Four weekend on the day in between the semifinal and championship rounds.
Salisbury's Katie Hastings was also selected to play in the senior game, but will instead play in the national championship game Sunday against Bowdoin at 10:30 a.m. at Old Dominion University. Hasting's and the CAC champion Sea Gulls will vie for the sixth national title in program history.
