Five CAC Field Hockey Teams Receive NFHCA Academic Honors
Salisbury's field hockey team headlined a group of five CAC teams that were honored with the 2013 Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award, announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches assocation on Tuesday.
The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year.
Salisbury was rated as one of the top five performers with a team GPA of 3.54, while Christopher Newport, St. Mary's, Wesley and York also received the accolade.
