57 CAC Field Hockey Players Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad
A total of 57 CAC field hockey players were honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as members of the Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, announced Wednesday.
CAC champion and national runner-up Salisbury led the way with a conference-best 15 student-athletes on the team, while Christopher Newport and St. Mary's each landed 10 on the squad.
Eight Wesley student-athletes received the honor, while Frostburg State and York each placed five and Mary Washington rounded out the group with four earning academic squad recognition.
