Christopher Newport junior Stephen Durbin was selected as the CAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this year after scoring twice in both games last week as the Captains ran their winning streak to 10 games. He notched both game-winners in victories against St. Mary's and Penn State Harrisburg, including the winning goal in overtime vs. St. Mary's.

York freshman Billy Bridegum was selected as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Spartans to a 1-0-1 week and recording a career-high output in saves last week. In a win over Frostburg State on Wednesday, Bridegum registered a save and earned the victory in net. On Sunday, he registered a career-high 11 saves and allowed one goal in a 1-1 tie with Salisbury. For the week, he posted a 0.90 goals against average and .857 save percentage.

Christopher Newport and Mary Washington are tied atop the CAC standings at 6-0, with St. Mary's one game behind at 5-1 ... Frostburg State senior Mukor Harris scored an insurance goal as the Bobcats downed Marymount 2-0 ... Senior goalkeeper Matt Spencer helped No. 24 Mary Washington to another pair of shutout wins this week on the road in CAC action, to run their shutout streak to four. He collected one save in each of the Eagle wins - a 7-0 victory at Southern Va. and a 1-0 win at Wesley... Freshman Jeremy Hokenson scored one goal and assisted two others as UMW remained undefeated in CAC play. He had a goal and an assist in a 7-0 win at Southern Va., and added an assist on the game winner in a 1-0 win at Wesley ... St. Mary's Emmanuel Oppong scored twice, including the game-winning goal in a 6-1 rout of Southern Virginia. Oppong leads the Seahawks with six goals while coming in second with 12 points ... Nick Njuki tallied a goal and an assist in Salisbury's 4-1 victory over Marymount (Va.) on Wednesday. Goalkeeper Trevor Brookhart allowed just one goal in a little over 175 minutes of action in a 1-0-1 week for Salisbury. He totaled three saves for a goals-against average of 0.51 ... Southern Virginia sophomore Nathan Allen scored the Knights' only goal of the week against St. Mary's ... Wesley goalkeeper Kyle Springsteen made 12 saves in net in two games for the Wolverines ... York senior captain Chris Hobbs came up big for the Spartans with two goals last week, including the game-winner vs. Frostburg State with 30 seconds left in regulation.
