The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association announced its 2015 NCAA Division III outdoor track & field National Athletes of the Year on Wednesday, and Salisbury junior Luke Campbell was named the men's track Athlete of the Year.

Tyler Austin and Luke Campbell of the Salisbury men's track & field team qualified for the finals of their respective events on Friday at the Merrick-Pinkar Complex in Canton, N.Y. Both Austin and Campbell advanced to the final day of the championships in the 110-meter hurdles and 100-meter dash, respectively.

The Sea Gulls totaled 38 points, holding a slight lead over York (28) and Christopher Newport (27) after four events. Frostburg State (10), Wesley (10), Mary Washington (8) and Penn State Harrisburg (3) also nabbed points on day one.
