York junior Dalton Myers received CAC Player of the Week honors for the third time this year after averaging 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 75% from the field in a 2-0 week for the Spartans. Myers began his week with 20 points and eight boards in the Spartans' two-point victory at Penn State Harrisburg. In an overtime triumph against Salisbury, he again tallied 20 points and eight rebounds to go along with seven assists and a block. He scored the game-tying bucket with 8.2 seconds left in regulation to force overtime.

In the D3hoops.com Week 7 National Rankings, Christopher Newport moved up one spot to No. 9 ... CNU remains the lone unbeaten team in conference play at 11-0 in the CAC and holds a four-game lead at the top of the standings ... Just one game seperates third place - 5 teams tied with 5-6 CAC records - and 10th place - three teams tied with 4-7 records - in the CAC standings ... CNU posted the largest win in head coach John Krikorian's six-year tenure Saturday in a 90-41 home victory over Penn State Harrisburg. It marked the biggest win for the program in 10 seasons ... Frostburg State's Tyler Michael totaled 30 points and 16 rebounds in a pair of contests last week ... Freshman Mark Madison led Mary Washington to home CAC wins over Frostburg State and Wesley, averaging 19.5 points and shooting 56.3% from three-point range. Against Frostburg State, Madison made 6-of-11 shots, including 4-of-8 threes, en route to 18 points. He shot 6-of-12 from the floor, including 5-of-8 three pointers, for 21 points as the Eagles topped Wesley ... Marymount's Rick Narcisse averaged 17.0 points per game behind 62.5 percent shooting last week, including a career-high-tying 21 points vs. Wesley ... St. Mary's Marsalis Hurley averaged 13.0 points and shot 69.2% from the field in a 1-1 week for the Seahawks. Hurley poured in career-bests of 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting) and two assists plus a team-best six rebounds in the win over Southern Virginia, helping the Seahawks snap a two-game skid ... Salisbury's Rocky Harris averaged a team-high 13.5 points last week, including 17 in the OT contest against York ... Southern Virginia's David Baety scored a career-high 37 points at St. Mary's. He leads team in ppg (13.9) and rpg (6.2) ... Evan Anderson was Wesley's best offensive threat in the squad's two games this week, averaging 20.0 points per game on 55.0% shooting from the floor. He put up a career-high 27 points against Mary Washington on Saturday. Over the two games, Anderson was lights out from behind the arc, shooting 66.7% (8-for-12) from three-point land ... Sophomore Matt Scamuffo led York with 24 points in the overtime win over Salisbury. Scamuffo scored 13 points in the five minutes overtime as he was 3-for-3 from three and 4-for-5 from the free throw line. York has won all three of its CAC games at Penn State Harrisburg as the home team has lost every game in the three-year history of the series. Dalton Myers has eight games in which he has scored 20 points or more. Myers has scored 41 points in two games against both Salisbury and Penn State Harrisburg.
