Christopher Newport junior Tim Daly earned CAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this year after leading the sixth-rankec Captains to three road victories last week. Daly averaged 20.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 blocks per game on 54.1% shooting. His two free throws with one second remaining at Salisbury forced overtime and allowed CNU to go on to win and clinch the regular-season conference title.

Daly, who comes off the bench, averaged 14.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 steals per game as the 13th-ranked Captains earned wins at Mary Washington and at home over York. CNU improved to 14-1 overall and 8-0 in the CAC with the victories.

Christopher Newport sophomore Aaron McFarland was selected as the CAC Player of the Week after helping the Captains remain unblemished in CAC action with a pair of conference wins last week. McFarland led CNU in scoring in wins over both Penn State Harrisburg and Wesley, averaging 22.5 points and 5.0 three-pointers per game while shooting 75% (12-for-16) from the field and 76.9% (10-for-13) from downtown.

St. Mary's sophomore Delaszo Smith was named the CAC Player of the Week after leading the Seahawks to a pair of CAC wins with averages of 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.5 three-pointers per contest. Smith opened the week with 12 points, a career-high four steals and three assists in a win over Marymount, before totaling career-bests of 23 points, five assists, and five triples in a victory at Salisbury. Against the Sea Gulls, Smith shot 5-of-6 from downtown and 6-of-7 from the charity stripe.

Christopher Newport sophomore Marcus Carter earned CAC Player of the Week honors after posting his first double-double of the season in the Captains' 93-74 road win over Pitt-Greensburg. His 21 points and 10 rebounds helped the 11th-ranked Captains improve their record to 8-0 heading into the holiday break. Carter shot 75% (9-for-12) from the floor in his 32 minutes of play.

York junior Dalton Myers earned CAC Player of the Week accolades for the second time this year after powering the Spartans to a 72-66 CAC win against Mary Washington in the Spartans' lone game of the week. Myers tallied 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor and an 8-for-11 performance from the free throw line. He also pulled in five rebounds and dished out two assists to help York improve to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in CAC play.

In a 97-88 double-overtime victory over Marymount, Walker exploded for a career-high 30 points along with seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, three blocks and five three-pointers.

St. Mary's senior Tanner Brooks was selected as the CAC Player of the Week after knocking down the game-winning three-pointer with 12 seconds remaining to propel the Seahawks to a 59-56 non-conference win over Gallaudet on Saturday. Brooks finished with a game-high 19 points, including five triples, to go along with four rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Wesley junior guard Rasahn Brinkley was named the CAC Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning basket with 1.9 seconds remaining in the Wolverines' 92-91 win over second-ranked Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday. Brinkley finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds, none more crucial than his putback in the closing seconds. On Wesley's final possession, Brinkley grabbed an offensive rebound and finished a layup to propel the Wolverines to the upset win.
