Frostburg State senior guard Ronje' James was selected as the CAC Player of the Week after averaging 26.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.5 steals and 3.5 assists per game in a 1-1 week for the Bobcats. James also consistently got to the free throw line last week, shooting 20-for-24 (83.3%) from the charity stripe.

Five CAC contests remain for each team in the quest for a conference playoff spot ... Salisbury is ranked 18th in the D3hoops.com rankings and 19th in the WBCA/USA TODAY Top-25 ... After defeating Mary Washington on Saturday, Salisbury moved to 14-0 in CAC play and claimed a two-game edge over the Eagles in the conference standings. The Sea Gulls and Eagles have clinched CAC playoff berths and at least a first-round home game ... Christopher Newport senior Camry Green posted her 12th double-double of the year in a loss to nationally-ranked Salisbury ... Matti Vagnoni was St. Mary's leading scorer in two of three games last week, including 16 points and a season-best five three-pointers in the overtime win over Frostburg State ... York head coach Betsy Witman reached the 300-win mark following the Spartans 67-57 win at Wesley on Wednesday. Shea Wassel led York to a 1-1 week with averages of 16 points and 11 rebounds per game.
