Montpelier, Va. | Patrick Henry
Christopher Newport junior Logan Harrington was awarded as the CAC Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this winter after posting a pair of CAC indoor records during the Camel City Invitational over the weekend at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. In the 800, she posted a time of 2:15.66, which shaved nearly two seconds off the previous mark of 2:17.39, which Harrington established last year. Her clocking eventually placed her sixth at the meet and first among Division III competitors. It also ranks ninth in the NCAA this year. On Saturday, she returned to the track to set another CAC indoor record as she ran the anchor leg on the Distance Medley Relay, which finished in 12:39.42. That mark cut over six seconds off the previous conference record set by York (Pa.) in 2012. It also ranks 11th in Division III this year.
