Mary Washington Freshman Rachel Hendricks Garners CAC Volleyball Player of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- Mary Washington freshman Rachel Hendricks was named the CAC Volleyball Player of the Week for Oct. 14, 2014.

Mary Washington freshman Rachel Hendricks was named the CAC Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the Eagles to a 3-0 week, including CAC victories over Frostburg State and Salisbury. Hendricks was the team leader in kills in all three wins, averaging 3.67 kills per set at a .344 clip. She scored 14 kills while hitting .273 against Frostburg, and then hit .405 with 16 kills in a win over Salisbury, UMW's first over the Sea Gulls in four years. She then hit .348 with 14 kills in a 3-0 non-conference win over Bridgewater (Va.).
