Southern Virginia Announces Clint May as Cross Country/Track & Field Coach

Southern Virginia University Athletic Director Jason Lamb today announced the hire of Clint May — 18-time Montana Cross Country Champion and 18-time Montana Coach of the Year — as the university's new head coach of the men's and women's cross country, as well as the men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field programs.

Christopher Newport sophomore Grayson Reid (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) earned CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year honors to headline a pack of seven Captains on the 2015 All-CAC team. The seven all-conference honorees is the most for one team since 2010, when eight Salisbury runners earned All-CAC recognition.

CNU was selected as the preseason favorite with five first-place votes and 77 points, while Salisbury tallied three first-place nods and 71 points and York secured two first-place votes and 65 points.
