York senior Grant Dell was honored as the CAC Athlete of the Week after taking third individually and leading the Spartans to a second-place team finish among 28 teams at the DeSales Invitational. Dell raced to third place out of 268 competitors with a time of 26:11.5, good for an average mile of 5:17. The Spartans finished with 45 total team points, just six points back of team champion Messiah.

Christopher Newport senior Grayson Reid was selected as the CAC Athlete of the Week after establishing a new program record in the 8k with a time of 24:39 at the 44th Annual Paul Short Run at Lehigh University's Goodman Cross Country Course on Friday. His time placed him second among Division III competitors and 74th overall in a field comprised of nationally-ranked programs from Division I, II, and III. It also shaved four seconds off of his own previous 8k record of 24:43, which he established last year at the same meet. Guided by Reid's work, the 13th-ranked Captains placed third among Division III programs in the final team standings, beating out the likes of No. 3 Johns Hopkins, No. 15 Williams, No. 17 Middlebury, and No. 24 TCNJ in the decorated field. Reid's raced to a 4:58 mile pace throughout the 8k course.

Southern Virginia freshman Colter May was named the CAC Athlete of the Week after winning his division and taking sixth overall at the Hornet Harrier and Commonwealth Challenge in Wincester, Va. May won the Commonwealth division with a 6K time of 20:13, which placed him sixth overall in a field of 117 runners. May's strong placing helped the Knights to a third-place team finish.

Salisbury sophomore Branson Oduor secured CAC Athlete of the Week honors after taking third place out of 315 runners at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational over the weekend. Oduor crossed the finish in a time of 25:26.31 to earn the third-place finish. It was Oduor's best finish of the season for the maroon and gold and helped SU to third place in the team standings.

Frostburg State junior Robert Romano was named the CAC Athlete of the Week after powering the Bobcats to the Westmoreland CCC Invitational trophy for the second-straight year. Romano, who won the Westmoreland CCC Invitational the last two seasons, finished first among Division III runners at the event, and second overall. He completed the 5k course in 16:51.

Christopher Newport senior JJ LaPointe secured CAC Athlete of the Week honors after winning the 5k at the Mary Washington Cross Country Opener last Friday at the Clift Farm Road Course. LaPointe posted a time of 14:50.0, which topped the next closest competitor by over 18 seconds. His performance also helped CNU secure the team title as nine Captains finished in the top-10 during the competition, leading the squad to a score of 19.
