Christopher Newport sophomore Hannah Miller was named the CAC Volleyball Player of the Week for the second time this year after headlining CNU's perfect 4-0 week with an impressive display on the defensive end. She posted 23 blocks, including 10 against Randolph-Macon and seven against Marymount. During Friday's match against Randolph-Macon, she became the first Captain since 2010 to have at least 10 kills and 10 blocks in the same match. The following afternoon, she had seven kills on just 10 swings against Marymount while adding seven more rejections. Aided by her 23 blocks during the week, she eclipsed the 100-block plateau for the second straight season. She is now the first Captain in program history to have at least 100 blocks in each of her first two campaigns. For the week, she averaged 2.46 kills per set at a .343% clip while also posting 1.77 blocks per set.
