Wesley Sophomores Dominic McAnulty and Patrick Schlosser Named CAC Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- Wesley sophomores Dominic McAnulty and Patrick Schlosser earned CAC Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors for April 21, 2015.

Wesley sophomore Dominic McAnulty was named CAC Track Athlete of the Week after breaking a school record and finishing first among Division III competitors in the 400 meters at the Morgan State Legacy Meet. McAnulty completed the 400 with a time of 48.63, which is the fastest time in the CAC and 23rd nationally this spring. He also ran the fastest leg of the 4x400 relay squad that finished with a time of 3:19.38.

Wesley sophomore Patrick Schlosser was honored the CAC Field Athlete of the Week after he winning decathlon at the Morgan State Legacy Meet. Schlosser finished the decathlon with school-record 6,071 points, putting him first in the conference and 12th nationally. Throughout the decathlon he won the 100m (11.10), 400m (50.03), 1500m (4:44.49), discus with a throw of 131' 4'', and javelin (156'-8'').

CAC teams will compete in their final tune-ups for the CAC Championships this week ... Christopher Newport, Penn State Harrisburg, Salisbury and Wesley will travel to the historic Penn Relays in Philadephia, while Frostburg State and York will compete at the Paul Kaiser Classic at Shippensburg ... The CAC Championship is set for May 2-3 at York ... CNU's Daulton Teaford moved to 12th in the NCAA with a time of 21.70 in the 200 meters during the New Captains Classic. He also helped lead the 4x100-relay team to a victory with a time of 43.18 ... J.R. Lowery won the shot put and hammer throw and hit ECAC Championship marks in both events as Frostburg State competed at the Mason-Dixon Invitational at Gettysburg. Lowery has qualified for the ECACs in the shot put in all five outdoor meets this spring, while he has hit the mark in the hammer in three-straight meets ... Freshman Nick Smith helped Mary Washington to a third-place finish at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday, winning both the long jump and triple jump. He took first in both the long jump (21'-6.0") and triple jump (43'-5.75") ... Salisbury's Ryan DiPascale picked up first-place finishes in the shot put (49'-9.25") and the javelin (164'-7") for the Sea Gulls at the New Captains Classic at Christopher Newport on Saturday, while Thomas Burke grabbed first in the 800 meters at 1:53.55, which moved him into 25th in the country ... Wesley is nationally ranked in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Top 25 Poll for the first time in program history at No. 25 ... York's Darnell Tillman placed first in the 200 meters with a personal-best time of 21.72 and also set a new personal record in the 100 with a time of 10.97 to lead the Spartans at the Greyhound Invitational hosted by Moravian.
