This year's class for the hall of fame will feature Jason Ewing (baseball), Lacey (Lister) Lord (softball), Michael Steinen (men's soccer), and Byron Westbrook (football).
St. Mary's Crystal Gibson Selected for NCAA Pathway Program

Salisbury University junior softball outfielder LeAnne Collins (Sparks, Md./Hereford) was selected by the Capital Athletic Conference athletic directors as the 2016-17 Female Athlete of the Year. This marks the second year of the awards' existence, with Christopher Newport's Briana Sutton winning the honor in 2016-17.
Salisbury's Nathan Blondino Named CAC Male Athlete of the Year

Salisbury University senior lacrosse attacker Nathan Blondino (Leonardtown, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) was tabbed by the Capital Athletic Conference athletic directors as the 2016-17 Male Athlete of the Year. Blondino is the second-straight Salisbury student-athlete to claim the award, with track & field standout Luke Campbell securing the honor last year.
