Salisbury senior Mary McDonagh collected CAC Co-Player of the Week honors after averaging 21.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for Salisbury. She shot 54.2% from the field and 52.9% from three. The senior scored 19 points on 63.6% shooting from the field in a win over Wesley to go along with five assists and three rebounds. McDonagh followed that up with a career-high 24 point performance against Southern Virginia. She shot 6-for-10 from three point range while adding six assists and five rebounds. McDonagh was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line in the two games. The Sea Gulls earned the No. 5 seed in this week's CAC Tournament.

York junior Katie McGowan was named the CAC Co-Player of the Week after averaging 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 60.9% from the floor and 100% from the free throw line in wins over St. Mary's and Christopher Newport. She opened the week with 17 points, 10 rebounds and six steals against St. Mary's. In a crucial win at CNU that clinched the No. 3 seed for the Spartans, McGowan poured in 19 points, grabbed six boards and shot 8-for-13 from the floor.

Marymount clinched the CAC women's basketball regular season title and the top seed in the CAC Tournament for the second time in the last three seasons with a 49-36 victory at Mary Washington. The Saints (17-1 CAC) posted the first one-less regular season since Salisbury accomplished the feat in 2014-15 ... The CAC Tournament will begin with Tuesday's first round, featuring No. 6 Frostburg State at No. 3 York, and No. 5 Salisbury at No. 4 Mary Washington ...
