Christopher Newport senior Zach Campbell, Salisbury senior Meghan McGowan, and Salisbury junior Eric Halton have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Team, which recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

A conference-record-tying 27 student-athletes will represent the Capital Athletic Conference at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The championships are set for May 25-27 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Six of the eight CAC track & field teams will be represented at the national championships.
